The main Portarlington beach foreshore is at the end of the street and 100 metres from Port Beach House. 

The north-facing beach extends for over 800 metres and is a safe bay swimming beach.

The recreation reserve and tennis courts, and the nature reserve are 50 metres away.

A gentle five minute stroll takes you to Portarlington's cafes, restaurants and shops, and along the beachfront to the pier.

Located 104 kilometres from Melbourne on the Bellarine Peninsula, it's a 45 minute drive from the CBD to Geelong on the Princes Freeway and half an hour on from Geelong.
